Your 1st Call SPF School of Motoring Instructor will:
1. Recommend the very latest training methods and aids to help you study for your Theory and Hazard Perception Test.
2. Design a course of Practical Training to match your specific needs from your first lesson through to your Practical Test moving on to Motorway Training, Pass Plus and Advanced Courses.
3. Provide relevent feedback during your lesson and, at the conclusion of each lesson, record your development in your Lesson Record.
4. Monitor your progress, advise and recommend the appropriate time to apply for your Practical Test or, if necessary, reschedule a Practical Test appointment. The 1st Call SPF School of Motoring Instructor will carry motor insurance covering the pupil whilst driving the tuition vehicle, when accompanied by an instructor or DSA examiner. Where the pupil provides the tuition vehicle, the pupil is responsible for providing adequate insurance cover for third party liability, training and test purposes.
5. Provide Training on a one to one basis with no other learner in the car.
6. Honour the full 60 minutes for each lesson, and multiples of lessons, which will include an introduction, the training and de-brief.
7. Always conduct themselves in a professional manner and, whilst having the authority to refuse or end a lesson early, will abide by the law and not discriminate against any client.
8. Have the highest standard of personal conduct during the lesson including:
Courteous and cosiderate service
Avoiding physical contact except in an emergency
Provide a non smoking environment during training
Restricting mobile phone calls to emergencies or those for your benefit
9. Provide a presentable, modern, properly maintained Dual Control car on every lesson.
10. Always endeavour to be on time at the agreed meeting point and be available for the full duration of the lesson subject to unforseen circumstances beyond the Instructors control.
11. Endeavour to give you 24 hours notice should a lesson need to be cancelled or rescheduled subject to circumstances beyond the Instructors control.
12. In the event of you wishing to cancel or reschedule any lesson 24 hours notice must be given to the Instructor to avoid loss of the lesson fee.
13. Respond positively and professionally to any issues or concerns that you may have and try to resolve them to your complete satisfaction.
In requesting lessons, the pupil agrees that they are licensed to drive the tuition vehicle. The pupil must produce both parts of their provisional driving licence and satisfy the requirements of the eyesight test before being permitted to drive for the first time. The pupil must inform the instructor immediately if their entitlement to drive changes. The instructor reserves the right of sight of the pupil’s provisional licence from time to time.
If the instructor believes the pupil to be under the influence of alcohol or any other substance which may impair driving, the lesson will be terminated immediately and the pupil will be liable for the fee in respect of said lesson.
The instructor shall have the right to substitute another suitable instructor for the purposes of giving all or any of the lessons if the instructor is not available for any reason whatsoever.
In the event that the instructor is unable to substitute another instructor for a specific appointment, or in the event of a mechanical breakdown or other unforeseen circumstances, the instructor reserves the right to re-arrange the lesson at a time convenient to both partiesYour 1st Call SPF School of Motoring Instructor will:
